 Subscription costs more to re-up and they turn off protection, This review is from: NORTON NIS NETBOOK 2011 (CD-ROM) Norton netbook version works great on my netbook last year... I didn't have any problems or viruses at all.However, as I only use my netbook only when I travel, I didn't realize that my antivirus subscription ran out. I also didn't realize that Norton COMPLETELY shuts off ALL antivirus protection when this happens. I was presented with a link to resubscribe and was told that I needed to pay to do this. I paid less than for this netbook version when I originally purchased it last year. I also bought a different Norton product for for the same protection on THREE other PCs that we have. Am I to assume that its going to cost me 0.00 to get all my antivirus protection for all 4 computers up to date this year? I need antivirus protection for my netbook and the other three computers we have this year, but the fact that they turn off all protection when your subscription runs out and that they charge for EACH computer that I have, means that Norton lost a user that has been loyal to them for many years. If this sounds like a good deal to you, go with Norton. If not, seek out another Antivirus software program that doesn't leave you without any protection and take advantage of you like Norton does. I recommend that latter.  If you must use virus stuff - this is my favorite, By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: NORTON NIS NETBOOK 2011 (CD-ROM) Im not keen on Virus software, and find most of the add a bunch of complications, annoying log-ins and ways of force me to come back next year for another purchase..Honestly, Norton is nothing different, and they also want to complicate your life as much as possible. The good news, the NETBOOK edition is the light virus scan from norton, it is faster, lighter without as much junk. and do not bog down your perfectly good netbook as much as the full edition do. This is the ONLY product I use on any of my office PC's - for what it is.. highly recommended.  The best price I could find, By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
