If you like the original moleskin style, this is a really nice hard cover for an ipad. It is sized right for the ipad and looks very similar to a hardbound moleskin, including the elastic band to keep it closed, except that it has a soft suede-like interior to avoid scratching the ipad. It comes in black but, would be nice if offered in other colors as well. I have not yet used the pad of paper that comes inside the cover - - I use apps on the ipad to type or write notes(with a stylus) and store these electronically. The paper may be easily removed if not needed. When the ipad is inserted into the moleskin cover it is a bit thick; it would be more easily carried if it was at bit more thin.
