My internal modem failed and I had to order a new computer. None of the new computers I was looking at had a dial-up modem. Installation was a breeze--no complicated or confusing instructions 2. The missing s/w was irrelevant and totally unnecessary 3. Since putting it into service, it has worked flawlessly performing what it was designed to do---send and receive faxes using a dial-up connection I can highly recommend this simple but effective device for use on an XP box. |
